I like to add an inline image to an KB article by drag and drop, but I get an error "Dropped file type is not supported." Do I missed a setting somewhere?
I tried PNG and JPG.

You will need to upload the image somewhere, then link to it (click the "Insert/Edit image" button, the third one from the right).

Re: How to add an image to an KB article?
What is the reason for this restriction? Do you plan to add an image upload into the editor?
Re: How to add an image to an KB article?
The reason is there is always a slight possibility of exploiting vulnerabilities by uploading images with hidden PHP code which a non-properly configured server executes.
We will look into making it more user-friendly in the future though.
