Problem with email notifications

Hello,

I am using version 2.87 and we are having a problem with email notifications. Error message "Note: Could not send email notifications. Please notify webmaster at" with php sendmail and smtp.

In settings email: test connection smtp is ok

Please help me solve this problem

Hard to say without access to the server.

One thing to check is what your "From" email is set to in Admin panel > General tab. Make sure it is the same email address as the one under "SMTP Server" settings - some servers will return an error if you try to send from one account, but "From" is set to another account (email).
