When I click on a ticket from the admin account and then click on resolve, I get the error message below, even though the ticket shows "resolved" ...

Have you been editing any of the files? There are no "Resolve" buttons in a ticket after it is resolved.
Let me know exactly what happens and where (from which PHP file you click the "resolve" button and which file displays the error).

okay i am not able to repeat exactly what i have done previously. but i just tried this & got same error -
after a new ticket has been submitted, if I check it from the admin main page
(admin_main.php) and select "mark selected tickets as resolved".
Then as the user views his ticket he sees "resolved [open ticket]". When I click on [open ticket] I get that error message... Maybe because the page is not refreshed I don't know or I have to click on "continue" in the admin after resolving the selected ticket.
IN any case, what if I want to remove that option - to disable the user from opening/closing tickets....that may just be easier.
