Remove original user account

How do I remove the original user account that is created when first installing the script? The user name is "Your name" and the email is you@example.com. I am unable to edit this user.

This user cannot be removed. However, you can indeed edit it with another administrator account or by logging in with that user and going to the "Profile" page.

Update -

1. I am logged on to another account as Admin. Even so, the only icon available to me for this original user is the "Auto-Assign" lightning bolt. The edit, delete and status icons are not visible

2. I tried to log on as the original user and I receive the error "Error: Your account is currently inactive. Contact an administrator for more information."

Are you using Mods for HESK? If so, ensure that the account is active by using a different admin account and clicking the activate button for the original account to reactivate it.

I am using Mods for HESK.

This is the issue...I do not see those icons beside that particular user, only the auto-assign bolt. All other users have all 3 icons. I have logged into different admin accounts and it does not change the availability of those icons. So I am unable to edit or change the status of that account.

Update...

I enabled the user directly from the database. I have logged on to that account and can edit. My main issue is the account is occasionally being sent email notifications which of course are bouncing back and I cannot determine the source. Can I disable all notifications without issue? (for example, will the reset password script still work?)
