Why is "From Email" supposed to be a throwaway email address:
""From:" email
Your "From:" email address. This is the email address that will be shown as email sender (From: header) in all emails sent by HESK. Usually it is an email you don't read and don't reply to."
We need users to see/use support@ in the Reply To so users can always know to send to same address as they have received from us, otherwise can be confoozing for users cuz they will try to send to the Reply To that they receive
What if user just clicks "Reply" in their email assuming they are submitting a reply to a helpdesk email, sent from support@ and then replied to support@?
Is this do-able for piping?
Thanks
Need Support Email and Reply To email to be same for Piping

Re: Need Support Email and Reply To email to be same for Pip
In version 2.4 "From" email is not a throw-away, it was in version 2.3 to avoid customers replying to tickets via email (as it was not supported).
In 2.4 you should set "From:" email to the same email as you use for email piping.
More info will be released with official 2.4 release... very soon!
