Hi,

Is there anyway to put the guestbook entry on hold for the webmaster to approve before making it public? This would be a Great help at least for my situation. Spammers from russia corrupt my guestbooks every night.

Thanks

Hi,

Not at the moment, but I just might add that in the future.

You should upgrade your GBook to 1.43 which has protection against this new type of spam.

Hi Klemen,

I updated to 4.3 but it doesn't seem to slow problem down any. I guess I'll battle with them till a better solution is available. A "upon approval" private message might work as well.

Thanks

Well upgrading won't keep the OLD spam out, but shoul block new posts.

I have a lot of trouble with spam too and am using the Junk Mark filter and the security code field. Can you please invent a option to hold the post until the owner approves it as mentioned above? That is exactly what I need!

Added to my "to do" list. Don't ask me when though...
