BEFORE POSTING A QUESTION
- Make sure you have the LATEST version of the script
- Read the readme.htm file that comes with your script at least two times!
- SEARCH the forum for old similar posts. To search you need to register and click the Search link at the top of the forum
- Read similar old forum topics and try what is suggested there.
- Search Google for similar problems
- Do all of the above AGAIN
a) When posting a new topic you will see some questions (post template). Provide ALL KNOWN information requested from you in the post template. If any of the required information is missing you will simply get a reply saying We need that info so save us and you some time and provide as much info as possible in your first post!
b) Upload these files to your server and post a link to them in your post:
http://www.phpjunkyard.com/extras/phpinfo.zip
http://www.phpjunkyard.com/extras/session_test.zip
c) Write smart and descriptive subject and questions.
BAD examples:
- Help! This doesn't work! (Really? Too bad!)
- Can someone help me? (I am sure someone can)
- This script is broken it doesn't work for me! (sure, the script is broken but it works normally for 1000 other people)
BETTER question:
I am having problems with XY. When I do XX all I get is YY and no ZZ. I tried XX and YY solutions but no luck. I also searched Google for XX but couldn't find anything.
I would suggest everyone to read this good (and a bit long) guide How To Ask Questions The Smart Way
c) Questions like Is this possible? How? will usually be ignored. Almost anything is possible with PHP/HTML/MySQL knowledge and we are not here to provide free programming services to individuals. Try it yourself, ask a friend that knows PHP, ...
d) Ideas and suggestions are welcome, but I will only consider adding new features that would be useful for a larger number of script users and not features that would help just your personal problems/requirements. When and if anything new will be added is completely up to the author (me

e) Last but not least - SHOW SOME EFFORT! I (and many others) will be more willing to help you if I see that you actually put some effort in solving the problem yourself first before posting. Tell us what you tried, what you searched, ...
That's it, please play by these guidelines to help make your and our experience with FREE PHPJunkyard scripts more enjoyable.
