A lot can be done, but you will need some basic CSS/HTML knowledge to do that.
To add a logo, add the proper code to your header.txt file:
https://www.hesk.com/knowledgebase/?article=62
You can add any other custom HTML code into the header/footer files and edit the style files if you are familiar with CSS:
https://www.hesk.com/knowledgebase/?article=33
... or even go down the road of completely customizing a theme:
https://www.hesk.com/knowledgebase/?article=102
