Script URL: http://www.pleasanton-daycare-childcare.com/gbook.php
Version of script: 1.35
Version of PHP:
Hosting company: 1and1
Have you searched THIS FORUM for your problem: yes
(if not please do before posting)
If so, what terms did you try: went thru all posts

Write your message below:

I just installed the script onto my web sever. I am unbale to post it gives me the following error message:

Error

You cannot signup-session this guestbook at the moment!

I appened the word session to find out where the error was coming from...

looks like it is right here:

printTopHTML();

if (!(empty($a))) {

if (!empty($_SESSION['block'])) {
problem("You cannot signup-session this guestbook at the moment!",0);

I then tried to post to the guestbook using aol 9.0 and internet explorer 6.0. Both have no problems posting to the guestbook. So I am just unable to post in firefox. Any Ideas?

Hello ravetildon1,

I just tried to post myself from Firefox and it works perfectly. I even could post twice so you don't have the option to prevent multiple posts in one session on.

You can delete the message i posted in your guestbook as they were only for testing purposes.

Greetings,

That error means you did something that made the SPAM filter angry. Reboot your PC and try again. Also make sure your spam limit in settings file is not set too low (should be about 60-70).

Whatever happened seemed to work when I rebooted. Woo Hoo

Couldn't find any info about this in the forums, but what is the best way to keep someone from downloading your entire site, and looking at your files to determine passwords?
