Hi,

I've received the following error when trying to walk my dad through signing the guestbook on our family website. I was able to post with no problems yesterday, but today is a different story.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_regenereate_id() in /home/bkmcc2/www/gbook/gbook.php on line 53.

Is this the same as the other Fatal error questions? Does it have something to do with my hosting or is it a different situtation?

Thanks,

Kathleen

Very strange... I uploaded the settings.php and the gbook.php a second time and the error message went away. I was able to test-post twice to the gbook and all worked fine. Will I have to keep uploading those files to keep this from happening again?

Thanks,

Kathleen

my guestbook is http://www.canopymusic.net/canopy/gbook/gbook.php

Ive got exactly the same problems as you, even down to the line number (53) After visiting your guestbook, i noticed that I got the same error message when I tried to post a test message to your book, so apparently your fresh upload fix didn't take. I've found that refreshing the page sends you right to the spam blocking numerical entry page and then achieves the post, but how many of my guestbook users are going to sit through figuring that out? Anybody got any suggestions?

I'm not really sure what you mean, what kind of problems you got? I just signed up your guestbook without a problem.

By the way, you should upgrade to latest version as you seem to get some spam in your old one.
