first of all, thanks for the great work and publishing your work for everyone
Hope this project will be continued for a long time! 
I don't know, if this is the right place here, please feel free to move topic or let me know.
We use HESK with Mods for HESK for longer time and we are very happy with the clean and simple layout and functionality. As we are working with barcode technology, we looked for the opportunity to integrate some barcode/QR-Code features.
I searched in the forum and the user voice but didn't find anything.
We integrated a solution which generates a QR-Code with the tracking-id. The Code is displayed in the ticket overview and on the print form.
Why do we need this?
We need some information from the HESK database in another system. In the second system we can get the information we need via SQL-queries, therefore we refer to the tracking-id. As the tracking-id is not that fast to type via keyboard (espeacially for me
) we can now scan the tracking-id via QR-code.Because we appreciate the project, we wan't to give a little thing back and share our thoughts with you.
If there is an interest, how we set this up, just let me know.
Just be aware, that I'm not a PHP or programming professional. We have only integrated already offered solutions.
