There were no changes to POP3 fetching in 2.7.x

Try this:

1. turn Debug mode on (settings > Help desk tab > Debug mode: ON)
2. send a test email to your address
3. open the hesk_pop3.php in browser (example.com/hesk/inc/mail/hesk_pop3.php)

What does the output say?

What is the sender email address? Are the emails coming from a "noreply" address, such as:

do_not_reply@example.com
noreply@example.com
no_reply@example.com

... or similar?
