Post by nmb »

Version of script: HESK 2.6.7
What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution:
HESK reply email correct language
Write your message below:
Hi,
after install HESK 2.6.7 and 3 lang packs (EN,DE and FR), each time I reply any email or any other email, they are send always in english and not admin/staff user language.

Did I miss any other configuration needed, concerning setting the language?

Note:
Languages pack where installed and they work/display correctly in fronted and admin.
"Test language folder", located in admin->settings:
/language
|-> /en
|-> text.php: OK (English)
|-> /emails: OK

|-> /de-DE
|-> text.php: OK (Deutsch)
|-> /emails: OK

|-> /fr
|-> text.php: OK (Francais)
|-> /emails: OK

Any help to point me the right direction will be really appreciated.

thanks

Seems to work fine in my test setup.

Note that after installing a language pack, only NEW tickets will obey it, the old ones (without language stored in ticket) will keep default language.

If this is not the case with you, please post the link to your help desk for testing.

Indeed, I create a new ticket.
Even I create new staff user and after with this language set for example DE i created in backend a new ticket.

Anything can be done in order to detect where could be the issue?

I will continue testing, if nothing else can be done to my local test server.

thanks for your reply
