Hesk POP3 fetching old messages...URGENT

Hi,
Hesk is fetching old messages with POP3. I have turned off the POP3 fetching and it is still processing old ones from somewhere.
Where does it hold the emails that it is currently processing? Is there a way to stop it from creating tickets from emails automatically so it will stop importing the older messages?
I keep deleting them and it keeps putting them back.
I have turned on the email notification when a new ticket is created. I am worried that our customers are getting flooding with this old ticket assigned messages and getting them multiple times when it keeps reimporting the same messages over and over.
How do I fix this... Please help
