I have installed the script exactly as the instructions stated and triple checked everything. But when I load the page it just shows up blank. I can't figure out why.

You will need to check with your hosting company if the file is being blocked.
Also, please upload phpinfo and session test files to your server, you will find them in the "read this before posting" question.

I do not monitor the Gbook forums regularly anymore since I do not use the Gbook script myself anymore for a long time. But it helped me a lot in learning to understand php.
