Object module

Post by Zeepblok »

Hi,

I was wondering is there a HESK module that allows me to save objects (like my pc's and display's ) and is it possible to link those items to the ticket system ?

What I meant is this:

I want to keep record of every computer we have here. and if I make a new ticket I want to be able to select the computer as object that belongs to the ticket.
That way I can see how many time pc001 breaks down and with what problems

You could use custom fields - in the settings create a new select box and enter all available items in "Options"

Close one. i think i need to be a bit more specific.

I want to be able to choose from my pc's. every pc object needs to have his own database entry with hardware/os/owner/location etc.

A custom field doenst have those values.

Ah, I understand now. Unfortunately there is no such feature to accommodate you in HESK so you would need to have it custom-coded (try www.vworker.com).
