delay in emails...and sometimes emails get lost

Hello,
I'm having some trouble with emails being delayed and sometimes not ever being sent. Sometimes, emails go out quickly. I emailed my host Godaddy. There response was the following: Please make sure you are using relay-hosting.secureserver.net as the relay server, and pay special attention to the 'From' field, our mail server will not send email containing a "From:" header entry of @aol, @gmail, @yahoo, @hotmail, @live, @aim, or @msn.

The from email I'm using is the domain name of my site hosted by Godaddy, so I don't think that's the problem. Where can I go into the Hesk code to see if I'm using relay-hosting.secureserver.net as the relay server?

I'm afraid GoDaddy is notorious for taking a long time (up to 15 minutes or more) to send e-mail sent from PHP scripts. I've had numerous customers with the same problem. They always give the same reply - the one you received, but it's their server settings that need to be tweaked.

Next version of Hesk will support SMTP authentication so you will be able to try sending mail through a SMTP server instead (just like you do your regular e-mail) which will hopefully fix the delay, but until then there is nothing you can really do (unless you plan changing hosting companies).
