accented characters sometimes converting

Post by Leetoto »

Script URL: intranet
Version of script: 2.1
Hosting company: hosted on synology box ;-)
What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution: accent

Write your message below:

Hello
I use hesk for internal stuff: the problem is that we are using some accented characters.
The bug is that some of them are taken as they are and some other are converted (and the convertion is displayed)

Ex: the "é" character stays as it is , the "è" is converted (and displayed ) as &egrave
it also happens for &ecirc and &agrave, not for the others !

Strange isn't it ?
Where should I look for this ?
Thanks

You should probably modify the language encoding set in the text.php file (inside the language folder) to match the one you usually use on your web site.
