What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution:
I tried searching for "resolving php session expired" and "resolving php session error" neither seemed to show anything helpful.

I've also search this forum and again, several references to using session_test and phpinfo but I couldn't see anything with anything to try to resolve the problem.

Write your message below:
So, apologies if this has been answered, but as of this morning we cannot logon to Hesk with any of our admin accounts, they all say the session has timed out.

All was working fine on Friday so not sure what has happened.

Grateful for any advice you can offer.

Turned out our Deputy Head incharge of ICT had tried installing some podcasting software on our server, and in trying to get that to work he had enabled auto sessions.

We changed the "session.auto_start" back to 0 and it is all working again.

Thanks for looking.

Ahh a manager with the power to alter the php.ini - maybe not a real good idea lol

Glad you got things sorted out :)

Hi mikecloudsdale, could you advise what software you are using for your 'IT Facility Booking' system? Looks like something I could use for another project of mine tis all :)

Cheers

**EDIT**
Nevermind I found it: http://mrbs.sourceforge.net/ ;)
