Hi, glad you like the changes :) I would love to but since HESK doesn't use 'themes' it is kind of an overhaul of the front end with a few mods added to the admin section to make it look/function a little easier. Mainly just tweaks to your already fantastic script ;)

If anyone likes a section then just fire away and I'll post the code with instructions on how to add it to their installation - please note though, I am still using version 2.0 so the best way to go would be to install the latest version and backwards engineer the changes to work with the most current version.

That's what I want to see :)

Good work Raven ;)

PS: why don't you make in other color variants? Black, blue, silver...

Hi m4dbra1n, thanks for that ;) - Other colours would be cool but until we can 'theme' HESK without having to edit the source code there really wouldn't be much point as I'd be the only one to use it lol :P

It would be cool to be able to have a theme directory such as wordpress or the like so that users can create their own look 'n' feel with maybe a drop down in the admin section to select the theme.

I think it would be quite easy to have a CSS select dropdown to simply point to a custom CSS style sheet but to have full themes would prob mean a full re-code which I would not even be able to think about doing on my own...

Maybe this thread could be for users to show off their own designs or ideas on how to add the above CSS selection function? ;)

**EDIT**

My site is now live - http://www.Crikey-ThatsMint.com/

Hi hollandsedrop,

Glad you like the design and of course I'll share lol - after all this is open source

If there is a section that you like just let me know and I'll upload the code and instructions on how to add it in to your own HESK :D

To be fair though I have not changed that much, only the CSS, some graphics, a few language settings and a little bit of the layout. After that I have just added a number of small mods & fixes found mostly from this very forum and some nice snippets of java script from http://www.dynamicdrive.com/.

I am in the process of converting my theme to v2.1 of HESK. Once I've finished I will upload the screenshots. Also, if anyone wants to know how to alter their installation to include any/all of the modifications I've added just ask and I'll post the source code and instructions detailing each step ;)

Cheers

My site is now live - http://www.Crikey-ThatsMint.com/ and now running version 2.1 :) Also made some more changes to the way tickets are layed out and replied to - screen shots/code avail on request but the best way to see it is to simply submit a ticket yourself - just select 'Website Feedback' from 'Department' before sending ;)

Hope you all like it :)

A few new screenshots of my v2.1 installation and some more mods that I have added :)

All screen shots have added test showing mods and / or changes from the original version of HESK 2.1:

Remember, if anyone would like the source code for any of the sections of my site (except the main layout of my front page) then please just ask and I'll post it here for all to use.

Hope you all like the latest version :)

**EDIT**
Forgot to include that all user fields such as name, subject etc... auto Cap then revert to lowercase so if the customer types: roger for their name it is changed to: Roger - same if the customer chooses to type: rOgEr or roger, it is changed to read: Roger :)

This is just a little mod but I just hate it when people use AoL speak or miss out the initial cap - daft and poss quite picky I know but if it can be easily detected and fixed then why not hehe

Really good :)

I wish Hesk would have the auto cap mod inside the next release

Why don't you make a new default "theme" for Hesk?

I think Klemen will agree ;)

Bye!

Excellent work!

Would you mind posting the code on the forum. I'm currently modifying my help desk site and I would love to try to implement some of what you did.
