Customizing Display

Post by SupportCenter »

Using the most recent version.

One thing I noticed is when you create fields, is that the message you type into the box, is displayed all down the left column. It makes the fields all crunched together.

Is there anyway to say for example, field labels go across the page instead of going straight down the left side, to make it look more professional looking.

Also as a side note. Adding notes in the ticket where the techs can only see and enter, would be a nice feature.

Yes, the custom fields are have the inputs aligned so if you enter a long name I understand what the issue is. I will think about a possible solution.

Ticket notes are already included - open a ticket from the Staff interface and click the "+ Add note" link above the customer's first message.

I am also hoping for this. There are some questions I place where it's longer than just a few words. Could you at least tell us where we can modify these settings in certain php pages? Perhaps add a <br> or clear the left column, so the question sits at the top of the text box?

I'm aware of this issue and will try to address them in UI changes for HESK 3.x - HESK will most likely switch to format where field description is above the field, not left of it.
