what fixed it was modifying the .htaccess file and adding

SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off

modifying .htaccess file

Hi - I'm getting almost exactly the same problem.

But I can't find the .htaccess file on the server or in the downloaded files.

Did you make that file or would you mind letting me know the path where you found it?

My thread describing my problem is here:
viewtopic.php?p=12087#12087

I'd appreciate it if you would reply there, to keep us from making unnecessary duplicated threads.

I'm using LInux and all files are NOT hidden.

Thanks!
