Notification Email Quit Working

What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution:
forum and google search
I deleted our old database and reinstalled Hesk hoping that would fix the solution, but that didn't work.

The notification quit working a few days ago. All of the other forum posts said it's probably a problem with the host. If so, what should I look for? What questions should I ask when I call them? I really don't know a whole lot about php or web servers. I really want to use Hesk. It helps us out so much.

If it worked fine but stopped working suddenly it is 100% a server issue. I posted a few possible causes here:

Thanks for the suggestions. I need to buy you a beer. Our email server's filter was started catching it as spam and throwing it away. I had to add an exception and now it works just fine. btw the syles in version 2.0 were a nice add.
