Unfortunately that is not possible at the moment and to add it the entire script would have to be re-written to allow that. To be honest I don't believe I will ever add the option for registering as it would complicate the script too much and that is the opposite of what the script is for (simple message board). Also many hosting companies forbid using membership message boards that do not use a MySQL database.
