I have had many guest books and every one gets spammed with porn ads placed on them.
I run a literary site with 200,000 to 300,000 hits a month with 300 mg of text files 9,800 pages so I am found on the net by Google but what can I do about the spammers that find me and hit my site.

Is there a visual code that I can install or a verify e mail address first before placing ad…

Yes, unfortunately SPAM has become a problem with guestbooks. SPAMers use scripts(programs) that automatically submit messages to hundreds of guestbooks.

But my GBook has a feature that prevents SPAM - before you can submit your entry you must manually enter a security code. This way GBook prevents SPAM because scripts/programs cannot do that and the messages don't get posted.

You could use that code in other scripts as well.
