Converting 'old' guestbook messages to GBook. . . ?

Post by gbene »

Version of script: 1.6

Hi,
I'm new to GBook and would like to take my old guestbook entries 'with me' to a new GBook.
I've been searching, but so far not found any solution for converting my old messages in a 'Smartgb' to a new 'BBook'.
Any helping 'fix'. . .? :?:

hello Eno,

I don't know anything about Smartgb.
Could you post a link to your guestbook so I can take a look?

Greetings,
Henrie

It won't be possible, that's a remotely hosted script. You would have to submit the old messages again to GBook to transfer them.

Easier solution is just to use GBook from now on and maybe place a link to the old guestbook somewhere, for example "Read the old guestbook here"

Yes, I followed your advice!

The GBook is working. :)

I have made my own Norwegian translation - and put a link to PHPJunkYard - using one of your banners.

Thanks,

Eno
