Images not showing in header.txt or Footer.txt

My header (and footer for that matter) images aren't showing. I did a search on the site, and I came up with one similar result and you mentioned to make the URL's absolute rather than relative.

That being done, I am still not seeing the image in the header or footer. HOWEVER, I did a clearing of data in my browsers (both IE and Firefox) ... Firefox showed the image for a moment, then upon refresh, it disappeared again. IE NEVER showed them at all.

Can it be the browser? My computer? Or the program. If you see the image (a banner advertising a short film), let me know. If not, now you see my problem.
