Installing script may have broken the MySQL Module...???

Post by santiken »

Ever since I installed this script, I can no longer connect to the MySQL database through the PHP server using Dreamweaver 8. It tells me that the MySQL module is not loaded on the server. I was connecting fine prior. My host took a look at the setting and indeed the MySQL module is not loaded. So it's my guess that the installation of the script caused this.
Is this a known issue??

Thanks

Nope, it's not possible to even touch the PHP module from Hesk. Ask your host to have a look.

If you don't believe me (author of the script) then go hire a professional programmer and let him check out the script and ask him if it could delete MySQL from your server.

Also something for you to chew on: why didn't this happen to the other several thousand people who downloaded and installed this script?

Oh an BEWARE, next thing the script is going to do is eat your breakfast.

I didn't mean you silly...

I meant my host. It turns out that they inadvertantly turned off PHP Mysqli right around the same time I uploaded the script. But now everything is in fine working order.

Ah, sorry, misunderstood you. I though you meant I am not telling the truth.

Glad to hear it works.
