adding mboard to my website

Post by marijn »

Hi all, I hope you can help me here.

I currently have all the webpages of my website saved in the 'HTML' folder on my server. The webpage I want mboard to work on is www.mysite.com/forum.htm. How do I setup mboard so it populates when I go to this web page? I have read the setup readme numerous times, but I don't get it to work....

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a lot,

Marijn

Hi,

First of all make sure your server (hosting company) supports PHP.

You won't be able to make the page "forum.htm", it will have to be "mboard.php" in order to work. You can try uploading files for example to
http://www.yoursite.com/forum/

Many people have problems uploading files and/or setting correct file permissions. You can find some insight into this here:

If you want help you should post SPECIFIC problems (error messages) you get and not just "can't get it to work" as this doesn't give us any info about the nature of your problem(s).
