i just did a fresh clean install love it BUT whenever i go into settings, the database user name and pw have reverted to admin and whatever for the pw! each time i have to reinput the correct database user name and pw, why is this happening?

Never heard that one before. I would recommend clearing your browser cache and cookies, closing all broser windows and then trying again.

If you open the hesk_settings.inc.php file (the one on your server using a FTP program) all the settings are correct?
