Well, don't look at the design for now!! LOL I'm not going to fix that until I can get the gbook working first.
I have had zero problems getting this script working on a linux based system, btw and it works like a charm! NO SPAM WHOOHOO!
This time I'm trying to get it working on a Windows based system. I tried everything I could possibly research here in the forums including the save_session_path thing and the nousrid zip file. Nothing is working.
According to readyhosting's "knowledge base", PHP5 is supposed to be installed but when I look at the phpinfo.php it says PHP4 so go figure. I think something is messed up on the server and their tech support is giving me nothing but canned answers. I'm about ready to urge the site owner to allow me to move this site to a different host with a linux server.
Anyway...I tried the script with the verification image and it wouldn't show up, so I tried doing it with option "2" which is the text option. That returns "wrong verification code" error anytime I try to sign the guestbook.
I'd really like to be able to buy a license and use this guest book on this site because all other guest books that I've tried have always been spammed to DEATH within hours of putting them up and so far this is the only one that I have found to not have that problem.
It's awesome! Now, if only I can get it working on this Windows based site....
