Is there a way to remove/hide the reply button / icon (green arrow) and IP button so that you can only see the delete message button. Is a style thing, I only want that to be seen.

Yes, by editing the gbook.php file.
Problem is, you can also not use the function.

Alternative is, use transparant gif instead of the original image.
You will not see the image. But can still use the function if you remember the position of the image.
