Howdy, I don't have a problem. I love your script. In fact I am relieved and thrilled to have stumbled upon your script! I am no dummy when it comes to installing anything but I have tried and failed over the last 4 days to install multiple download counters and it was driving me insane. I was about to pay for one in fact that actually looks a LOT like yours but with fancy flash intonations and less functionality in the long run when I said I would search one last time. And thankfully I found your script. I installed in and had it working in 5 mins flat if even that. I can't tell you how thrilling it is to come across a website with working demo's, a promise of easy install, just to have it ring true. Thank you! I could go on with that but it would get on people's nerves and I think you get the point. :*)

Other than praise I came here to make a suggestion. I think one fellow may have made the same suggestion but to be honest I wasn't quite sure what he said so I wanted to just suggest it anyway to be sure. I know you have the option of listing how many times an item as been downloaded. Is it possible to have an automated pulling of the top ten or top 5 downloads on a list? I would put it together but I can code about as well as I can do an olympic run which is pretty much not at all.

Thanks for your time and efforts. I have your link blazing on my downloads page of my website which is what people come to my website for. :*)

Thanks for the kudos.

Yes, this has been suggested before, I might add it in the next version but I can't promise anything.

A piece of advice: if you have a lot of downloads (and links to track) you might be better off finding a script with a MySQL database, text files aren't powerful enough to handle large amounts of traffic.

Yes, I am afraid of this happening but I haven't found a good script yet with a mysql database that won't corrupt and that has a backup capability. Well there is the one I can pay for which I might have to break down and do but it's a poor copy of yours. :/
