Great Script - Feature Request

Hello,

I downloaded the Ccount script and I must say, it's great, works great and I have a great use for it on our web site.

I sell my music on my web site in MP3 format and I want people to be able to download the music and I can keep track of the count through your great script.

However, when somebody clicks on a .MP3 file, that file starts playing instead of downloading. I think it is possible to force a download in PHP. Can your script be modified to do forced downloads?

I understand that this is a free script but I am willing to pay for the Mod if it can be done. Let me know how much and give me your PayPal address and if can afford it (poor musician) I will pay for the Mod.

As for the mod it is possible, for fastest and cheapest work I would recommend posting this as a project to Rent A Coder as I have other work at the moment.

I know it's a long time ago, but did you manage to get this to work? I am looking for the exact same thing... The click counter is great, but I also need a "force" download in order not to open the PDF file in the browser.

Version 2.2.0 has just been released that supports this - you can select redirect type when creating or editing a link.

Be advised though that you need allow_url_fopen enabled on your server, and that it is not recommended for large files.
