Script creates ID=1 over and over

Post by notsosmart »

Script URL:
Version of script: 1.2
Hosting company: hostway dedicated
URL of phpinfo.php: http://www.moneyindepth.com/ccount/
URL of session_test.php: http://www.moneyindepth.com/ccount/session_test/
What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution:

Write your message below:

Hi,

I installed the script correctly, (I believe), however, when I create a new link , each time the ID = 1, therefore making the script non-functional.

It doesn't matter how many IDs I create, it's always "1".

Have you seen this before?

Thanks,

Gaetano

There's a problem with your ids.txt file. I can access
http://www.moneyindepth.com/ccount/clicks.txt
but I can't access
http://www.moneyindepth.com/ccount/ids.txt

Reupload clicks.txt and ids.txt and make sure BOTH have chmod 666 (rw-rw-rw-)

Thanks and one more Q

Thanks, that seems to have solved it. Odd.

One more Q:

Would there be any problem with setting up ccount in multiple folders on the same domain? (In order to avoid compromised files due to too many links/clicks)

I don't see why it would be, but you never know...

I'll keep playing with it, and will go ahead and buy a license if it works for me.

Thanks again!

It can be installed as many times as you wish. But if you expect many clicks you should consider getting a MySQL script.
