Smileys not pasting in 1.5 using Firefox

Post by Cheepnis »

Script URL: http://www.mst3k.org/gbook/gbook.php
Version of script: 1.5
Hosting company:
URL of phpinfo.php:
URL of session_test.php:
What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution:

Write your message below:

I just installed 1.5 and it works perfectly (thanks for the Ban IP function!!!) except that when I tried to post a test comment and add smileys, I get the smiley pop-up, but when I select one for insertion, it doesn't place it into my comment.

I used the latest version of Firefox 2.0.0.4

Using Internet Explorer 7, I had no difficulty.

BTW, I'm surprised the suppression of showing visitor emails wasn't added to the settings options. It's an easy option to add, but it still has to be manually done with each upgrade :-(

Just tested your gbook with FF 2.0.0.4 and was able to add smiley without problems.

Try clearing temporary internet files and closing all FF windows.

The "hide e-mail" function will be added to the next version.

D'oh! I'm so ashamed of my simple-mindedness  That did it!

Thanks again for the fast reply, a GREAT easy-to-use script, and the excellent support!
