The install went fine, the script runs fine, posting a guestbook message works fine, the email notice works fine, the problem is when I try to delete a post, it asks me for teh password, I enter the corect password and I get this message:
Error: Please enter your password
I go back and re enter it and the same message appears, I triple check the password, Ive changed the password, everything. Nothing else seems to be wrong. Can anyone clue me in on the problem? I tried to search for it but it doesnt seem any one else is having this issue?

The problem is you were editing gbook.php and made some mistakes while doing it. Works fine with the original gbook.php, doesn't it?
Your password filed is named "pass2", the original gbook.php has "pass". Same for deleting, replying and viewing IP number. Not sure what other changes you made, but see if changing field names back to the original ones helps.
By the way, you will find "phpinfo" and "session test" files in the post entitled "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING A NEW QUESTION!!". But don't bother, won't help here anyway.

the "pass" and "pass2" change was it and it works fine now thanks!!!
All I had done was drop everything in a new table that I can control the width, that was pretty much it so I would have never found that. What I am pretty sure happened is that I did it in dream weaver and duplicated the file as a backup and that was teh file that I used, I think sometimes dreamweaver adds a 2 or 3 etc to the code when you dupe a file as a backup. I wish it wouldnt do that.
