new page at limit

Post by pea »

Wow that popup is almost as annoying as ad popups..

I was wondering how you'd make a new page when a limit is reached instead of blocking submissions. Google doesn't like pages with 100+ links and i want as many links as possible..

Thanks. Pete

What popup? There shouldn't be any on my site.

As for the multiple pages this is something LinkMan doesn't support at the moment, but if you read old posts in the support forum (you posted this in the MODS forum) you should be able to find info on creating categories/multiple pages with multiple installs:

The popup telling you to read the rules.

I'm not in the mood to program..i was just wondering if you had any plans. I mean't make a new new page when the links on a page gets too x number.

(later) i think i'll just have the script write to a new text file when 100 links are reached

That popup is there for a reason and it is purposefully coded in the way that you must READ it, if you just click Enter it shows up again

And no, have no plans to add that in the near future.

Which file do I edit to chng the txt file to a new one?

Post by sandra88 »

So I can make a page 2, like Pea suggest above, which php file has the linkinfo.txt in it that I would change to ie; linkinfo2.txt. Of course I will create the new text file as well to write to.

Thanks for your help!
