Copyright Question..

Everything that doesn't belong to any other forum but this one. If it doesn't belong here then it ... well, it just doesn't.

Copyright Question..

Post by Yuripro84 »

Hey guys, I did read that you do Not allow redistribution of your code through other sites. This sounds fair and all, but I am trying to start a site where I create skins for different scripts, and was wondering if maybe I could go around this? All your junk will stay intact (copyrights and the such), and no real code will be changed, just the look (since I don't know how to code a script itself lol). Anyways, think of this as free promotion. I will give away skins for your script, and will point out where they can purchase licenses if they would like. If it makes you feel better as well, I will leave out pages that aren't needed to be edited so they must still go to your site for the full download. Thanks for any replies :)

EDIT:
Here's an example of what I will create. I then give these templates out for free anc charge for other things, such as further customization. Please note that all submissions will be denied, this is just a test board.

I would have a more 'official' domain name, but still have a few things to settle :P My domain is registered though :)

Hi,

As long as all the Copyright stuff remains intact and the script is actually downloaded from PHPJunkyard (except the modified files (skin) can be on your server) you shouldn't have any problems from me

By the way, feel free to post the skins to the "LinkMan Add-ons" forum here.
