Gbook admin replies not being received

All works very well except that when replying to comments in the guestbook a reply is never received.
My family have helped with the testing and all works fine except that no actual reply has ever been received either by myself or my family.
Not very familiar with php but I’ve looked at the function postReply but cannot see how this function can post a reply. Any help would be appreciated
The Admin reply displays in the GB fine

Guestbook is very good and useful addition to many web sites. Thanks to Klemen for a great product and to Henrie for the code to hide e-mail addresses. Works a treat!

The admin reply only places a reply in the Guestbook. It does not send a reply to the original poster of the message.

Hard to say what's wrong without knowing any details. Have you tried with ORIGINAL gbook.php (don't edit anything inside)? Post a link to your GBook so we can have a look.

Hi Henrie & Klemen,
I've just re-read your first response above. I think that this has answered my query. I thought that "Reply to a post" would mean that an e-mail would be sent to the poster which would be logical as a form of thanks to them. If this is not the case, can this type of response be easily included in the script as I'm sure other users would benefit from good customer relations that this would promote

The original script produces the same result.
