Perhaps I missed this from previous posts - sorry if I did.
I would really like the ability to edit descriptions or links in ClickCounter. Especially descriptions.
Once I type one in, if I change my naming convention or need to clarify one for myself better (to distinguish it from another version of the link) I'm stuck with having to delete it and create a new link - which means having to go back and update all the old links (which may be impossible when I have links already published in ebooks and such).
Thanks

That's not supported yet, you would have to manually change descriptions in the "clicks.txt" file. If you do make sure you BACKUP your old file before changing anything.
I will have editing of links added in the next release, not sure yet when available.

I figured out how to edit a link. I went into my site folder, and found the clicks.txt. I copied and pasted what was there, and then edited one of the links to a new one (I had needed to make a correction to a file). I then copied the clicks.txt with the change, and replaced the original one.
I did lose the count -- it reset itself to zero. But the link works and is counting again. I needed to edit rather than replace b/c I know that the original link is being shared and I wanted to ensure that anyone who uses it from now on has the correct file.
I have no idea how to do anything, but somehow I figured that out intuitively.

farouche, download the latest version of CCount (1.2 which was released few days ago) - it has now option to edit links, just click the "E" image next to the link you wish to edit. No need to manually edit clicks.txt file anymore.
