Administrator Password not working in all areas

I have set my password in the settings.php file and uploaded the file. When I open the guestbook online and do some admin stuff like delete a message, the password works fine. However when I want to view the IP Address, the password won't work. Any reason for this?

Sorry, I found that I just had to close Firefox and reopen a new session
