each peer once counted?

Post by kurt2 »

Hello,

thank you very much for programming and mastering this stuff.
There's a question I have not found the answer yet: Does phpGcount count each hit, or does it remember which peer it was -by ip-number or by cookie - and ignore the again-hits on my site resp. the page I count the hits to on my domain? Is there a switch I can choose if it should or not?

Thank you for a short reply,

'Kurt'

It counts every "hit", to make it count only once you would have to edit the code. Some instructions are posted here:
