After updating the clicks.txt the showcount doesn't work!

I have updated the clicks.txt manually (did it 7 times before and had no problems) but now it won't display the counts anymore. The downloads still work but i'd really like to show the counts to my visitors. I didn't make a backup of the clicks.txt (did all the times

).

What can i do?

Hi,

A few things to try:

1. Delete all empty lines from clicks.txt
2. make sure clicks.txt is uploded in ASCII mode to the server
3. change $settings['system'] to 2 in settings file
