hi thanks for the awesome script! i just wanted to change admin reply and before I messed around I wanted to ask. If I go to the gbook php page and just change the text "admin reply" to the site owner's name will that work? or would that screw something else up? I just want to sort of personalize the response more than "admin"

Yes, going into gbook.php and changing the text should work. I suggest you go step-by-step: make a little change, TEST it to make sure the script still works, make another change, TEST it, ...

I am also trying to change text "admin reply" to the site owner's name but it appears this help you provided in 2006 no longer applies. How can I make the same change but in version 1.8.2? Thank you!

You will find all the text GBook uses in file language.inc.php

Open it in Notepad++ (do NOT use Microsoft Notepad), find the text and change it.
