am new to hesk and have a quick question

Post by ianhaneyitdr »

Script URL: https://www.it-doneright.co.uk/support/index.php
Version of script: 3.4.3
Hosting company: Guru
URL of phpinfo.php: unsure where this is in hesk
URL of session_test.php: unsure where this is in hesk
What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution: I searched for sort by

Write your message below:
I am new to hesk and only started using it yesterday and have a quick question, is there a way to sort the order of the tickets on the main page after logging in so the most recent ticket is first, I found more options and clicked on Updated on the sort by section but when reload the page, it changes the sort by to the default order again

To save the view, what you can do is:

1. go to the list of tickets
2. click "More options" and select your desired sorting options
3. at the bottom, select "Make this my default view"
4. click "Less options" (if you don't want the full form to be displayed by default)
5. click "Show tickets"

Thank you, that worked but have noticed I had to do it a few times before it saved the setting, I'm wondering if it's a caching issue or something as I have cloudflare linked to the domain name but did create a page rule to ignore the caching for the directory where hesk is installed.

I noticed it happens when viewing a existing ticket as well, I put the ticket id in and the email address and click view ticket but the page refreshes, I have to do it a few times before I can finally see the ticket info

That indeed sounds like a caching problem. Not something that can be turned off from within Hesk, this is something that needs to be fixed with your hosting company/CDN.

No worries, I'll contact my hosting as well as cloudflare and see if they can help.

Thank you so much for your help and time, appreciate it.

If I get stuck on anything else, I'll open a new topic/post
