Grammar recommendation

Post by srumberg »

Version of script: 3.2.2

Hi Klemen,

When viewing a ticket, it shows the status as, "Customer didn't read this reply yet." It would be grammatically better to say, "Customer hasn't read this reply yet."

"Didn't" is past tense, which doesn't agree with "yet."
"Hasn't" is present tense and includes the potential that the person will, at time some, do the action.

"He didn't do it." (the action is complete)
"He hasn't done it." (the action is, possibly, not complete)

I know the language file can be edited, but I thought it would be good to update the message in the master code :-)

Thank you
Klemen

Thanks for the recommendation, will fix that in the master.

I am not a native English speaker so if you (or anyone else) have other grammar improvements you are invited to post them here (or make them in the text.php and share).
