It's up to you. Both are still supported.

Official v2 doesn't have wysiwyg, Mods for Hesk adds that. V3 will have wysiwyg available alter this year.

Yes, later this year, was a typo.

And no, this is not a Mods for Hesk compatible changes.

Nope, Hesk doesn't support end-user accounts (it was designed not to use them). They may be added in the future, but not sure if/when.

In a very old version of Hesk V2 (probably 2.6.7 or 2.6.8 ), I had implemented a forced login for all users.
As far as I can remember all changes to Hesk files are those indicated in the text file below (link).
Users had to be pre-registered in the Hesk users table, there is no register form only a login form.
Whether these changed are transferable to other Hesk V2 / V3 versions or not is left as an exercise to the brave as I have changed jobs & company and no longer use Hesk

Warning & disclaimer : I'm not a "true" PHP developer and accept no responsibility whatsoever to changes anyone makes to Hesk

I packaged my old "forced login" 2.6.7 HESK install. I make no claim whatsoever that it is complete nor fully functional.
That's an old archive I found on one of my drives, it's not a copy of a currently functional HESK install.
The odds I can answer any question are very, very, very slim as I haven't used HESK since 2017 (happy retiree here!)
Remember I'm not a certified PHP programmer so a proper review of my mods would be more than desirable.

Download hesk 2.6.7 with forced login zip file

Make sure you read the modified_HESK.txt file. Use at your own risk!
