I recently upgraded to the latest version of Hesk and have found that any file link in my knowledgebase has been broken and I get the message:
This file has been deleted from the server and is no longer available for download
What has happened? Where do I find those files?
Thanks for any and all help
File links broken after upgrade

Re: File links broken after upgrade
Upgrades never delete any files.
What exact version did you upgrade from and what version to?
Did you make any manual changes/maintenance in your "attachments" folder?
Can we see your help desk?
Can we see your phpinfo?

Re: File links broken after upgrade
I added a test (private) article and attachments work fine.
This means the old attachments are missing (or unreadable). Are there any files visible in your "attachments" folder?
Did you upgrade 2.6.8 over existing files, or did you make copies?

Re: File links broken after upgrade
I have a copy of the old version which has many files in the attachments folder
The upgrade version has no files in the attachments folder. Is it a simple copy?

Re: File links broken after upgrade
Yes, copy. Depending on your server set up, you may need to additionally change CHMOD and/or owner/group permissions of the files if you have trouble reading or deleting old files from within Hesk.
