I tried several things but the “Re-send Email Notification” is working and also the the green balloon, but it is actually not sending the email.

Hi ... I found out that this feature can only be used when:
Send emails using:
PHP mail()
When:
Send emails using:
SMTP Server
It will give the green or red bulb but it never sends
Please help

Do SMTP emails work otherwise (such as when submitting a reply, new ticket notification, etc)?

Yes, everything works as it would normally do. Only the resend is not

I think I know what the issue is. Are the emails that fail to send have an owner assigned to the ticket?

Hi Mike, when it is unassigned I get the red bulb
When it is assigned I get the green one. > However if the settings are to use smtp there is a green bulb but really NO email.
When the setting is php the green bulb comes > Yes an email is sent.

I just tried re-sending an email via SMTP and I didn't encounter any issues. Please PM me your:
- helpdesk URL
- admin account
- FTP credentials

Mike, When I click resend when in smtp it also never gives me issues. However the email is not being received. I see see the green bulb anyway.
Are you sure that when you resend in smtp the email is also send out on your end?

Yes, the email is received in my inbox when testing with SMTP.
